Former President and CEO of Beaver County Credit Union Accused of Taking More Than Two Million Dollars

(Pittsburgh, Pa.) The former president and CEO of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local Union 712 Federal Credit Union in Beaver is accused of stealing more than $2 million Dollars between May 2017 and March 2020.
In Paperwork filed Monday in U.S. District Court prosecutors said Stacey Shaw opened six credit cards issued by the union and fraudulently raised the credit limits on each card, making a combined $2,099,437 worth of charges and cash advances.

Shaw is also accused of willful failure to file tax returns in regard to tax years 2018 and 2019 in relation to the stolen money.
She earned $589,222 in 2018 and about $1.1 million in 2019, according to court papers.
