(Pittsburgh, PA) A former doctor has been charged with child sex crimes and has been fired from the UPMC Children’s Hospital. According to the Department of Justice, 53-year-old Ashok Panigrahy is charged with transporting and possessing material depicting the sexual exploitation of a minor. Investigators claimed that child porn with children under the age of 12 was identified after agents searched his computer and IPhone. The firing of Panigrahy comes after UPMC officials put him on administrative leave after finding out about the incident.
