(Aliquippa, Pa.) Danny Britza 82, former Mayor of Aliquippa from 1980-88, died Sunday, August, 29, 2021 in the Apple Blossom Personal Care Home in Moon Township. He graduated from Aliquippa High School in 1957, was a US. Army veteran, college graduate , state auditor, councilman, mayor, and city treasurer. Danny was a member of St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church. Viewing will be Thursday, September 2, 2021 in the Wayne N. Tatalovich Funeral Home on McMinn St. from 2-4 and 6 -8 p.m. Britza’s funeral will be Friday at 10 a.m. in St. Elijah Serbian Orthodox Church. Britza will be laid to rest in St. Elijah Cemetery with full military honors.
