(Moon Township, PA) A part of Flaugherty Run Road in Moon Township reopened to traffic after an announcement by PennDOT on Friday.

A section of Flaugherty Run Road between Brodhead Road and Stoops Ferry roads were closed on July 7th when sections because of safety reasons and the paving buckled during the recent high heat.

Traffic was detoured when the closure occurred.
