(Freedom, PA) The FBI released a new statement about the investigation into the bomb threats that were made against Freedom Area School District over the past several weeks. 

A spokesperson for FBI Pittsburgh released this following statement about the investigation yesterday afternoon: 

“The FBI is working closely with the New Sewickley Township Police Department to identify and bring to justice the individual(s) responsible for recent bomb threats directed at the Freedom Area School District. Making threats of violence—especially those that disrupt schools and endanger our communities—is a serious offense and can constitute a federal crime. The FBI and our partners intend to fully enforce the law and ensure the perpetrator(s) is held accountable.”
