Firefighters were called to the scene of an apartment fire in New Brighton overnight. The initial call came in around 2 a.m. at an apartment on 34th Avenue. One family is left homeless by the blaze. Judith Schaffer of the American Red Cross tells Beaver County Radio newsman Pat Septak that they are in the process of assisting the four victims. There were no reports of any injuries. The cause of that fire is under investigation.
