The public comment period for the proposed Falcon ethane pipeline is being extended. Department of Environmental Protection officials say they are extending the period after a significant number of requests to do so. If approved, the proposed 98-mile pipeline would cut through parts of Beaver, Allegheny and Washington counties. The DEP added that hearings will be held in each of the three counties.
