(Pittsburgh, PA) The Pittsburgh community came together to honor the eleven lives that were lost in the deadliest antisemitic attack in the history of the United States.

Tomorrow is the eight-year anniversary of the attack on the former Tree of Life Synagogue, now called the Tree of Life Center of Humanity.

The suspect, Robert Gregory Bowers, shot and killed 11 people there on October 27th, 2018.

People gathered yesterday as part of 10.27 Healing Partnership’s annual day of service.

Volunteers made blankets, served meals, packaged hygiene kits, and cleaned up Jewish cemeteries that were across the area.

This day of service is part of a commitment that is ongoing to remember the victims of this attack and to bring people together.
