Day 1 Of The 2023 Beaver County Maple Syrup & Music Festival Marks Return Of Tradition To Beaver County

(Brighton Twp., Pa.) After 1,476 days of travelling through new stages of life both good and bad, a collection of familiar sights, smells, and sounds emerged from Brady’s Run on an April morning.

The Maple Syrup Festival is once again happening in Beaver County.

This year, however, it is the Beaver County Maple Syrup & Music Festival under its first year of operations under PUSH Beaver County. Several of Beaver County’s top musical acts took to the stage set up by the park, while the traditional elements of the festival–pancakes, sausage, syrup, vendors, crafters, candy, war re-enactments and occasional loud cannon blasts–came back as if they had never left.

Beaver County Radio also made a return to the festival, as Mike Romigh and Matt Drzik along with Dan Campbell had the Personality Prize Wheel rolling throughout the early afternoon during Solid Gold Saturday Afternoon with JD Merkel. Several winners got prizes courtesy of Herr’s Snacks, Gnu’s Body Works, Fun Fore All, and even the Pittsburgh Penguins!

Eddy Crow and Curtis Walsh will be broadcasting live from Day 2 of the Maple Syrup & Music Festival from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, so if you didn’t get a chance to stop by and say hi on Day 1, there’s still another chance!

Here’s some highlights from Day 1 of the return of one of Beaver County’s biggest events:
