(Moon Township, PA) A man was seriously injured and flown to a regional trauma center after officials said he fell several feet from the roof of a building while conducting work on Robert Morris University’s campus Friday afternoon.
A Facebook post from the Valley Ambulance Authority that day stated that emergency crews, alongside Robert Morris University police and the Moon Township Fire Department, responded to a reported fall incident in Moon Township.
The incident was reported around noon.
EMS and police arrived at the scene and found an adult man who had fallen 30 to 40 feet from the roof of a building. The man was said to have sustained life-threatening injuries. He was flown to a regional trauma center for treatment. As of Saturday, there have been no updates on his condition.
WTAE later reached out to Robert Morris University, which said the man was a roofing contractor who was working at Washington Hall when the incident occurred.
