Commissioners Address Situations At Shell & Brighton Rehab During Public Meeting

The Beaver County Commissioners met once again during the pandemic shutdown, limiting the affair to a 20-minute livestream and taking care of business once every other week.

During the meeting, Commissioners’ Chairman Dan Camp spoke publicly about the ongoing issues with the Shell ethane cracker plant in Potter Township:

 

The Commissioners have openly spoke about the notion to balance progress in building the plant along with making sure that workers remain safe and are away from danger.

Another hot-button area of concern in the county is Brighton Rehab & Wellness Center, where the coronavirus has made its presence most prevalent in Beaver County. County Commissioner Jack Manning made a statement in regards to the situation at the meeting:

 

The next public meeting is scheduled for April 23 at 10:00 AM.
