Comey: ‘Sure Looks Like’ Enough Evidence to Prosecute Trump

Former FBI Director James Comey said Thursday “it sure looks like” there is enough evidence to prosecute President Donald Trump for obstruction of justice contained in special counsel Robert Mueller’s report. In remarks at at a CNN Town Hall, Comey added “there’s no doubt” Mueller’s findings would have produced obstruction charges if Trump were not president. The Town Hall was held on the 2-year anniversary of Comey’s firing from the FBI by Trump. That move was one of 10 instances laid out in the Mueller report as possible obstruction of justice on the part of Trump.
