(Independence Twp., Beaver County, Pa.) Pa State Police in Beaver are reported on Thursday, November 17, 2022 that they were dispatched to the scene of a one vehicle accident on Route 151, Gringo Road, in Independence Twp., Beaver County at 8:35 AM on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Troopers say that when they arrived on the scene and investigated it was learned that 58-year-old Brenda Cerankowski, of Clinton, Pa., was driving a 2022 Toyota Tacoma eastbound on Pa. Route 151 near Kingsley Glen Road when she under compensated a curve in the roadway and left the roadway on the right side. Her vehicle then struck a guiderail and came to a final rest while still in contact with the guiderail.

Cerankowski was transported by Medic Rescue to a local hospital for possible injuries. She was charged by State Police with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance at the Highest Rate of Alcohol.
