Center Township Supervisors Gather For Monthly Meeting

Center Twp. supervisors met last night  and renewed  an new agreement with Potter Twp. to provide  law enforcement services, according to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano.  The agreement must now be signed by Potter Twp. The supervisors approved the $1.856  million road program for 2017 as prepared by engineer Ned Mitrovich. Lisa Palombo, a part time office clerk was promoted to full  time.  Police  Chief Barry Kramer said that officers used naloxone four times in overdose incidents, and revived 3 out of 4 successfully. B.F. Jones librarian Linda Helms announced her retirement from the library at the end of the month,  She has served in that position 6 years, and worked in libraries for a total of  50 years. .  She said her replacement hasn’t been named yet. Frank Vescio, chairman of the township planning commission said a meeting will be held Thursday, April 6 with Namdar Realty, the mall’s new owners.
