Butler County Resident Runs Stop Sign Into Guide Rail

(Butler, PA) – Pennsylvania State Police have reported via release that on April 28th, 2021 at approximately 11:29 a.m., Butler county resident, Brittany Wilcox, a 30 year old female, was exiting State Route 422 West when she failed to stop at the stop sign. The stop sign was at the intersection with Pleasant Valley Road, in Muddy Creek Township, Butler County, PA. Mrs. Wilcox proceeded through the intersection and crashed in to the guide rail on the Eastern edge of Pleasant Valley Road. Mrs. Wilcox sustained minor injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital by Portersville/Muddy Creek EMS. Mrs. Wilcox has been charged with a traffic violtion for failure to stop at a stop sign.
