(Pittsburgh, PA) On Tuesday, the Pittsburgh Pirates released a statement after fans addressed the missing “Bucco Bricks” that were taken outside of PNC Park. According to this statement, these personalized bricks were removed because of a “host of environmental factors, including weather and foot traffic.” The statement also stated that the bricks have been taken for the third time and officials confirm they are undergoing a recycling process. The date when the bricks were taken is unclear.
