Bridge replacement project, restrictions on Route 65 in North Sewickley and Franklin Townships

(North Sewickley Township, PA) Traffic will be restricted along Route 65 in North Sewickley and Franklin townships for another month as crews will prepare the area for the installation of a replacement bridge over the Connoquenessing Creek. 

According to PennDOT, on weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. through mid-September, there will be single-lane alternating traffic restrictions controlled by flaggers between Country Club and Mercer roads

Predrilling and installation of bridge foundation work will be conducted by crews from Swank Construction Company in preparation for the full closure, which is expected to occur from mid to late September.
