BREAKING NEWS: Suspect Taken Into Custody in Fatal Stabbing of 7-year-old in Lawrence County

BREAKING NEWS: U.S. Marshals have arrested a convicted felon in the fatal stabbing of his girlfriend’s 7-year-old son near New Castle, Lawrence County, according to Pennsylvania State Police. Authorities said 43-year-old Keith Burley was taken into custody in Youngstown, Ohio this morning. Police say Burley, who was on parole for a previous homicide conviction, is accused of killing the boy late last night at a house along High Street in Union Township during a domestic dispute. Police say the boy’s sibling who was also inside the house ran over to a neighbor’s home for help. According to authorities, the girlfriend and her two children had earlier gotten into a vehicle with Burley when the woman got out of the car to call for help at the New Castle Fire Department. Burley then drove the car with her children still inside back to the house on High Street where he then stabbed one of the children.
