Bill That Strips Guns From Abusers Goes Into Law Today In Pennsylvania

A bill that strips guns from domestic abusers is going into law today. Known as Act 79, the law is intended to protect victims of domestic violence. The law requires abusers who have been the subject of protection orders to turn in any guns while those orders are in effect, and they are further prohibited from possessing guns. Governor Tom Wolf says the law will both protect victims of domestic abuse and hold abusers accountable for their actions.
