Bill Clinton Visits Aliquippa

Former president Bill Clinton was welcomed to Aliquippa this morning by a crowd of over 500 to Broadcast Street Cafe .  According to Beaver County Radio News Correspondent Sandy Giordano, Clinton was introduced by Senator Bob Casey. Clinton was welcomed by Mayor Dwan Walker who presented him with a city flag.  Clinton thanked the mayor’s parents for raising 2 fine sons, Dwan, and brother Donald who is on council.  Mayor Walker is a Clinton delegate. Clinton said if everyone brought attitudes to work everyday like the Walker’s there would be fewer problems.”  “If you don’t want someone to drive the truck over a cliff, ‘VOTE FOR HILLARY”. Clinton’s slogan “STRONGER TOGETHER”  was displayed, and several citizens wore Hillary buttons in support of her candidacy for the first female president of the United States. If Clinton, Katie McGinty, for senator and Erin McClleland  for Congress are elected, it would be the first time 3 women would be elected to serve in Washington.”‘ As Clinton exited the event, photographers from all media sources,  and crowds of Beaver Countians, not just from Aliquippa tried to get a glimpse of the 42nd president of the United States. Everyone was encouraged by the speakers to vote for Hillary on November 8.
