The Nuclear Regulatory Commission will host a public meeting tonight to discuss the safety performance of the Beaver Valley Nuclear Power Station. On hand will be N-R-C officials, who are responsible for inspections of the plant as well as general safety oversight. Officials also will discuss planned inspections this year for Beaver Valley. The open house is set for 5 to 6:30 tonight at the Shippingport community building.
