(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Pennsylvania State Representative Rob Matzie joined Eddy Crow on Teleforum Friday morning, August 12, 2022 in the Eleven O’clock Hour to talk about the happenings of what is going on in the 16th District and in the state of Pennsylvania.

During the interview after the 11:30 news a special announcement was made by Matzie and Crow that Matzie will be a part of the Beaver County Radio Sports Broadcasting team this fall. Matzie will join Beaver County Sports Hall of Fame broadcaster Bob Barrickman, Bruce Frey, Mike Azadian and another new addition to the team this year former Beaver County Times writer and current freelance writer John Perrotto.

Matzie isn’t new to the broadcast booth as he called games for WMBA back in the day. Matzie worked for WMBA from 1987 until 1994 as sports broadcaster and show host. Matzie continued to broadcast high school sports for the MSA and Trib-Live networks off and on for a number of years.

Beaver County Radio is excited to start our 75th Year of broadcasting high school sports and to roll out our new broadcast teams starting Friday August the 26, 2022.

You can listen to Beaver County Radio all season long on 12330 WBVP and 99.3 FM, 1460 WMBA and 95.7 FM, beavercountyradio.com, and select games will video stream live on the station Facebook page.
