Beaver County Commissioners approved a 2019 budget by a 2-1 vote. Commissioner Sandie Egley was the no vote. The budget overall totals 220 million plus with 75 million allotted for the general fund. There will be no tax increase and acting budget director Corey Trautman says the current budget will finish the year in the black. Commissioners unanimously approved an eight million dollar tax anticipation note with Huntington Bank.
