(Ambridge, Pa.) Ambridge Borough Police Chief John A. DeLuca informed residents late Tuesday, April 4, 2022, that two suspects were arrested in relation to the recent car break-ins in the borough. DeLuca said his department has been working vigorously with extra patrols on all shifts and several plain clothes details.
A Search warrant was executed for the residences of the accused and some of the personal items stolen have been recovered. Police will be posting photos of some of the items recovered that may have been stolen outside the borough in hopes they can be returned to the rightful owners. Ambridge police will be reaching out to recover items confirmed stolen after referencing incident reports. Victims are asked to be patient as police go through these items. Once confirmed, residents will be notified by phone or in person.
Chief DeLuca thanked all of his officers and the surrounding police departments for doing such a great job on the investigation. Later this week, the defendant’s names will be released.
