(Koppel, Pa.) Al’s Corner in Koppel, PA invited WBVP/WMBA to join in celebrating Customer Appreciation Week as well as the first day of summer on Friday June 21. Rachel McGreal from Al’s Corner showed the loyal customers just how much she cared for their friendship and patronage through free food deals and prizes.

The steady lunch crew took advantage of the free hamburgers and hot dogs sizzled on the grill outside of Al’s. Customers were also welcome to a free coffee and candy bar as part of Customer Appreciation Week.

Frank Sparks and Matt Drzik hosted the remote broadcast as they talked to patrons and interviewed McGreal about the days festivities.

Beaver County Radio Interns Christina Sainovich and Kristian Biega ran the Personality Prize Wheel and gave away prizes such as Al’s Corner t-shirts, scratch off lottery tickets, and pizza vouchers to many lucky customers.

Between the great weather, free food and prizes, and the overwhelming gratitude for Al’s customers, WBVP/WMBA’s broadcast celebration was the perfect way to kick off the first day of summer.
