(Pittsburgh, PA) Allegheny Health Network (AHN) and The START Center for Cancer Research (START), announced today that they have entered into a strategic collaboration.

START is the largest global network of community-based, fully dedicated early-phase oncology clinical trial sites.

A new START early-phase clinical trial site will be established at AHN’s Allegheny General Hospital within the hospital’s AHN Cancer Center, which expands the access to novel investigational cancer therapies for patients across western Pennsylvania.
