(Aliquippa, Pa.) The Aliquippa School Board has a new member, Leon Seaburn was voted in to replace Stephanie Mason who resigned last month. Board president Larita Stewart submitted her resignation last month , She will leave the district effective June, 2022. A replacement will be voted on at the board’s June meeting.
The district’s tentative budget of $30,564,042 was approved. A 1 mill increase is expected when the final budget is adopted at the June board meeting.
Nora Lemon, a district administrative secretary for over 30 years announced her intention to retire, and it was approved by the board. She has served the district for over 30 years.
