(Aliquippa, PA) According to police, a man was arrested after he tried to enter an active crime scene in Aliquippa. 

This happened yesterday along the 1200 block of Wade Street at 5:38 p.m. and a spokesperson for the Aliquippa Police Department confirmed that the man approached a crime scene that was set up there. 

Officers responded to a shooting in that location. 

Police stated that this man was told not to cross the perimeter that was established, but he pulled out a knife and cut the crime scene tape intentionally in an attempt to enter the crime scene.

He was taken into custody immediately.

Police identified that man as forty-three-year-old Antoine Lamont Cummings of Aliquippa. 

Cummings is being held at the Beaver County Jail and he faces charges of disorderly conduct and obstructing administration of law.
