Aliquippa Council Announces Start Of New PennDOT Project

Aliquippa City Council met last night and announced that preliminary work by PennDOT on the much-needed Kennedy Boulevard project has begun. Beaver County Radio news correspondent Sandy Giordano reports that the area from the Stone Arch to the Broadhead Road intersection will be reconstructed. In other business, Wilbur Moreland was appointed to the Aliquippa Municipal Water Authority Board to fill a vacancy effective immediately. Michael Ranieri was appointed to fill a vacancy on the city’s planning commission.
