Aliquippa City Council hears 97th San Rocco Celebration Update

(Aliquippa, Pa.)  The Aliquippa City council met on Wednesday night and during the meeting they were given an update on the San Rocco celebration by John Havey. He is the attorney representing the San Rocco Foundation. Havey reported that the celebration will go on despite  issues between the foundation and  San Rocco Festa Committee.

Havey explained that the   event is scheduled for Sunday, August 14, 2022 and all necessary plans are in place. A parade begins on Sheffield Terrace , they will cross Kennedy Boulevard to the AIC. A mass will be at St. Titus Roman Catholic Church. The festivities will be held at St. Franicis Cabrini Church in Center Township.
