(Brighton Township, PA) Emergency crews responded to a motor vehicle crash involving injuries and a damaged gas meter in Brighton Township on Wednesday.
The Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Station 63, was dispatched to the 5700 block of Tuscarawas Road. First responders arrived within minutes and worked to free an occupant from the vehicle before beginning medical treatment. Medic Rescue also responded to the scene.
Crews secured the damaged gas meter, shutting off service to prevent further gas leakage, and checked nearby homes as a precaution.
The roadway remained closed until the vehicle was removed and the gas company arrived.
