Police are investigating after a five-year-old girl was left with a stranger about a half mile from her home in Baden. According to the child’s grandfather, the girl’s bus driver at Baden Academy didn’t know where she lived. So he stopped a woman walking along the road to see if she could help. The woman didn’t know the child but the driver decided to leave her with the woman anyway. Lauren Bensink – the CEO of Baden Academy – says the safety of their students is of the utmost importance and promises to work closely with their bus companies to ensure safe transportation.
