(Harrisburg, PA) The 2026 primary elections are on November 3rd and Pennsylvania residents that are not registered to vote can still sign up before the voter-registration deadline this year.

According to VotePA, Pennsylvania residents have until October 19th, 2026, to register to vote for the November 3rd general election.

You can vote in several ways. One is through the state’s online voter registration system. You can use a computer, mobile device or tablet for this option, and it will be reviewed by the county elections office of the voter once an application is submitted.

Voters will get their voter registration card upon approval by mail.

Pennsylvania residents can also register to vote in person at their county elections office or through certain state government agencies, which includes PennDOT.

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania confirms that residents may register to vote if they are United States citizens for at least one month before the election occurs, have lived in both Pennsylvania and their election district for at least 30 days before the election and will be at least 18 years old either on or before Election Day.
