Bob Williams- Democratic Candidate for Beaver County Recorder of Deeds stops by Teleforum with Frank Sparks

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Bob Williams a Democratic Candidate for Beaver County Recorder of Deeds was Frank Sparks’ guest on Teleforum Tuesday April 23, 2019 in the ten o’clock hour.

Bob’s appearance was part of the continuing series in which Frank is highlighting the candidates running for election on the county level in Beaver County. The primary election is on Tuesday May 21, 2019.

To start the interview Williams discussed his early life growing up in Hopewell and told the listeners who Bob Williams is. He then told the listeners about his family and was beaming in pride as he talked about his grand daughter. Frank and Bob discussed his professional career and previous run at a state seat. Williams explained his experience and what he feels qualifies him to be the next Beaver County Recorder of Deeds.

Bob Williams will be running on the Democratic Ticket against Dee Dixon and Michael Jackson. The winner of the May 21 primary will then take Ronald Alberti, who is running unopposed on the Republican Ticket in the primary, on November 5, 2019 in the general election.

Dennis Nichols- Democratic Candidate for Beaver County Commissioners appears on Teleforum with Frank Sparks

Dennis Nichols a Democrat running for Beaver County Commissioner was part of the continuing series highlighting the candidates who are running for election in Beaver County on Teleforum with Frank Sparks.

Dennis discussed with Frank his upbringing and personal life. Dennis served as a Beaver County Commissioner from 2012 to 2016 and is again seeking the a seat in the 2019 election. Dennis discussed what he has been doing in the four years since his last term and that he feels his experience can assist him in being a Commissioner.

Nichols is teaming up with fellow Democrat and current Beaver County Commissioner Tony Amadio on the same ticket. They are opposed by Julian Taylor. On the Republican side current Beaver County Commissioners Chairman Dan Camp is seeking re-election as is Beaver County Chamber President Jack Manning. Each party will select two candidates to move on to the general election in the fall.

Candice McMunn- Democratic Candidate for Beaver County Controller appears on Teleforum with Frank Sparks

Continuing the series on candidates running for office in Beaver County on Teleforum Candice McMunn a Democratic Candidate for Beaver County Controller was Frank Sparks’ guest on Teleforum in the ten o’clock hour on Monday April 22, 2019.

Candice talked about her upbringing in Beaver and and then moving to Texas where she met her husband. Candice is also a mother of three children. Candice discussed with Frank what made her want to run Beaver County Controller and about how she is a humanitarian who believes in transparency. Candice told the listeners why she would like for them to vote for her in the primary election on May 21, 2019.

McMunn is running against current controller David A. Rossi on the Democratic ticket. on the Republican ticket Maria Longo will face off against Sarah Pannell. The winners will square off in the fall election.

Tune in 1230 WBVP and 1460 WMBA today, Thursday April 18, 2019, at 11:35 a.m. during “Notes on Local Entertainment” with Scott Tady, Entertainment Editor for the Beaver County Times, and Frank Sparks.  Allen James a local music artist will be interviewed and playing a song to promote his gig with Rex Trimm at Wooley Bullys Juke-joint Saturday night. Senior Day at Beaver County Nissan Wednesday April 17, 2019

(Chippewa, Pa) It was a bright sunny Spring morning and the perfect day for a remote broadcast at Beaver County Nissan. Frank Sparks, host of Teleforum and Ed “the Master” Hermick did a live broadcast as part of a new promotion at Beaver County Nissan. During the summer months on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s it’s Senior Day. If you’re a senior citizen you can get and oil change for just $34.95. They will also have Medic Rescue on hand to do a light health screening on select dates.

Frank and Ed had the Beaver County Radio Prize wheel out for customers to spin as they entered the dealership. The guys will be back at Beaver County Nissan again on May 15, 2019 from 10-12 doing another live broadcast. In the mean time check out the photos below of all the fun…….

 

Senior Day at Beaver County Nissan Today, April 17, 2019

Join 1230 WBVP  and 1460 WMBA April 17, 2019 at Beaver County Nissan for Senior Day. Frank Sparks host of Teleforum  and Ed Hermick will be broadcasting live from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. There will be lots of fun and prizes. The personality prize wheel will also make an appearance as well.

Tom Young Your Financial Coach visits Teleforum.

Tom Young from 1st Consultants Inc. made his monthly visit to Teleforum with Frank Sparks on Tuesday April 16, 2019.

Tom told the listeners why the world is upside down and will continue to be more upside down in the future.  He told the listeners it’s all about financial education. This isn’t something they teach you in schools. Tom talked about how people think financially and the 7 prosperity  that he has gone over in past shows.

The Best of Beaver County with Jim Roddey has a healthy familiar day

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) The Best of Beaver County is easy to discover; it’s right on your radio!  Tune in every Thursday from 11 to 11:30 A.M.  for “The Best of Beaver County”, an innovative radio program on 1230 WBVP and 1460 WMBA presented by St. Barnabas. The show is hosted by Jim Roddey and is dedicated to shining light on the great things going on right here in local neighborhoods, and the people that are making it happen.  Jim’s guests this week were Josh Wilsey from Nursing ABC and a voice familiar to the Beaver County Radio listeners, Chris Shovlin.

 

In the first segment Mr. Roddey and Josh spoke Nursing ABC which is an online nursing school. The pair talked about the need for nurses and how easy it is to go to nursing school while you still maintain your normal life. Nursing ABC is a total online school that is based out of Chippewa Pa.

 

In the second segment Mr. Roddey spoke with broadcasting legend Chris Shovlin who worked for Beaver County Radio early in his career. The two spoke about Chris’ career, sports, and Lincoln Park.
