(Beaver Falls,Pa.) Tyrone Zeigler is on a mission to bring the wave pool back to Beaver Falls. He stopped by Teleforum in the 11 o’clock hour today to talk about it.

Host Frank Sparks talked with Zeigler about how it came to be that he decided he wanted to try and rehab the once popular pool. He talked about the hard times he had in life and the mistakes he made along the way that brought him to the point that he is the man he is today and that he is making it his mission to do something good for the public and the youth so that they don’t go down the same path that he did. Tyrone says he is fortunate and got his act together before it was too late. Zeigler said the pool will not only be a place to swim but a place for the youth and that he would like to also have speakers come and talk to the kids. Beaver Falls City Manager Charles Jones called in and showed his support for Tyrone and the mission he is on. Zeigler explained how the City of Beaver Falls has embraced the project from the first time that he approached them about it.  He also talked about the support and the sponsors he has that have pledged to donate supplies and how it has reduced some of the cost. At this point he is waiting for the feasibility study to be complete so a course of action can then be drawn up.  You can watch the entire interview as it was streamed live on Facebook by pressing the play button below……
