Police are searching for three men involved in a shooting last night in Cranberry Township. One man was reportedly shot before 7:30 in the 91-hundred block of Marshall Drive. According to police, the victim and another man were selling jewelry to three men who had stopped at the house. Witnesses say that one of the suspects was using the bathroom when he came out and started shooting. A young girl was also reportedly home at the time. Police say the victim was shot in the arm. He was taken to UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, where he underwent surgery late last night. Police are still searching for three black men who were seen leaving the scene in a silver Kia Sedan.

CONSTRUCTION OF A BRIDGE THAT WILL CARRY THE PENNSYLVANIA TURNPIKE OVER BRUSH CREEK IN NEW SEWICKLEY TOWNSHIP IS UNDERWAY. THE OLD BRIDGE – WHICH WAS CONSTRUCTED BACK IN 1951 – IS 150 FEET LONG, CARRIES MORE THAN 40-THOUSAND VEHICLES DAILY AND HAS BEEN DEEMED OBSOLETE BY TURNPIKE OFFICIALS. THE OLD BRIDGE WILL BE SWAPPED FOR THE NEW ONE IN SEPTEMBER. A 55-HOUR CLOSURE WILL BE IN PLACE BETWEEN THE BEAVER VALLEY EXIT AND THE CRANBERRY EXIT ON THE TURNPIKE FROM SEPTEMBER 22ND TO SEPTEMBER 25TH.
