Officials say an inmate who got a letter detailing the murder of an Aliquippa teacher has agreed to a plea deal. The Beaver County District Attorney confirms the letter exists and says it is being analyzed in a lab for more clues. Investigators say they believe the letter could be key in helping to figure out who killed Rachael DelTondo in her parents driveway in May.
A FEDERAL JUDGE IN PITTSBURGH HAS ISSUED AN ORDER PERMANENTLY BARRING THE GOVERNMENT FROM ENFORCING AN AFFORDABLE CARE ACT MANDATE ON GENEVA COLLEGE TO PROVIDE CONTRACEPTIVE COVERAGE. U-S DISTRICT COURT JUDGE JOY FLOWERS CONTI SIGNED THE ORDER, SAYING THAT THE MANDATE VIOLATES GENEVA’S RELIGIOUS BELIEFS AND RIGHTS BY FORCING IT TO PROVIDE HEALTH INSURANCE COVERAGE TO EMPLOYEES AND STUDENTS FOR CONTRACEPTION SERVICES THAT THE COLLEGE CONSIDERS ABORTION. THE ORDER BRINGS AN END TO A LONG, DRAWN-OUT LAWSUIT.

A Wendy’s in Chippewa Township will be closed for at least two weeks after a Sunday afternoon fire. Investigators say fryers inside the restaurant erupted in flames and the building was evacuated. The fire reportedly spread to the ceiling but no one was hurt.
