Robert Skerlec on Teleforum to celebrate 30 years of Robert’s Roadside Inn !!

Robert Skerlec owner of Robert’s Roadside Inn was on Teleforum with Frank Sparks today, July 28,2017 to talk about this weeks 30th Anniversary celebration of  Robert’s Roadside Inn. Bob talked about the history of Robert’s and what special events are planned for this weeks celebration that gets under way tomorrow night, Saturday July 29, 2017. Bob took phone calls from the listeners and some famous names in Beaver County congratulating him. Some the dignitaries that called in included Bob Barrickman, WBVP/WMBA  Sports Director, Beaver County Commissioner Tony Amadio, Beaver County Prothonotary, Nancy Cozzucoli Werme,  and former host of Teleforum Mike Romigh who is now the Sponsorship/Events/Social Media Manager at the Beaver County Humane Society. Bob shared many stories and even taught us a lesson or two along the way. Robert Skerlec finished the interview by thank his family and his customers who have helped to make Robert’s Roadside Inn such a success. Cheers to Bob and Robert’s!!! Steelers sign Villanueva for four years!!!

Alejandro Villanueva was signed by  the Steelers today to a four-year contract. Villanueva started all 16 regular season games last year, as well as the three postseason games, at left tackle. He was part of an offensive line that helped Le’Veon Bell break records, as well as allowing only 17 sacks, the fewest in Big Ben’s career. In 2015 Villanueva played in all 16 games, starting the final 10 after Kelvin Beachum was lost for the season with a torn ACL. Villanueva made the most of his opportunity to turn into one of the top lineman in the NFL after a career as a U.S. Army Ranger.

BEAVER COUNTY TREASURER CONNIE JAVENS APPEARED ON TELEFORUM THIS MORNING…EXPLAINING WHY HER OFFICE IS BEHIND ON PROCESSING HUNTING LICENSES. COMMISSIONER SANDIE EGLEY RECENTLY FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE STATE GAME COMMISSION, COMPLAINING THAT THE COUNTY’S HUNTING LICENSES ARE BEING PROCESSED IN A TIMELY MANNER. JAVENS TOLD FRANK SPARKS ON TELEFORUM THIS MORNING THAT THERE’S A REASON WHY SHE’S BEHIND…SHE’S SHORT ON STAFF:

JAVENS SAYS HER OFFICE IS DOWN TO JUST 7 EMPLOYEES, DOWN FROM THE USUAL 11. SHE SAYS THE COMMISSIONERS HAVE SIGNED OFF ON ADDING A COUPLE OF EMPLOYEES TO HER STAFF, BUT THEY HAVE NOT STARTED YET.
