State Rep. Aaron Bernstine Discusses State Budget With Matt Drzik on AM Beaver County

The Pennsylvania House is still debating a just-unveiled plan to expand casino-style gambling to truck stops, online portals, airports and 10 new mini-casino sites. The 470-page bill re-emerge on the House floor today. It became public last night and quickly won Senate approval. State Representative Aaron Bernstine appeared on AM Beaver County this morning. He was still in Harrisburg at the time, talking about the bill in a phone call with Matt Drzik…

House GOP majority leaders support it, while opponents warned that the bill carries a raft of unintended consequences. It would make Pennsylvania the first state to allow both casino and lottery games online. Democratic Gov. Tom Wolf isn’t saying whether he supports it.
