Police said a woman was found dead in an East Pittsburgh home after a man in the Cambria County Jail told a therapist he killed someone. Police said the man gave the therapist an address for a home on Maple Street. The therapist called police who went to check out the house, finding the woman dead. Police said her body appeared to have been at the scene for at least two weeks and is badly decomposed. Officers said her death is being considered suspicious, and there are no visible signs of what led to her death. State police officers have not identified the man, but said charges are expected on today.

Police Investigating BB Gun Wedding in Butler
Five people are recovering from a BB gun shooting while attending a wedding in Butler. Police arrested a juvenile accused of firing the shots Friday as the crowd was gathered for the wedding ceremony. The young suspect was taking into custody and charges are pending. The five victims suffered minor injuries.
Pens Announce 2019 Preseason Schedule

The Penguins will open up their six-game pre-season schedule against the Buffalo Sabres on Monday, September 16 at 7:00PM at Penn State University’s Pegula Ice Arena. This is the second time in the last three seasons Pittsburgh has visited State College for a pre-season game.
Three days later, the Penguins will play their first home pre-season contest, as they take on one of their Metropolitan Division rivals, the Columbus Blue Jackets, on Thursday, September 19 at PPG Paints Arena.
Following that, Pittsburgh will play back-to-back road games on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22 against the Blue Jackets and Detroit Red Wings respectively.
The Penguins will conclude their pre-season slate with home games on Wednesday, September 25 versus the Red Wings, and Saturday, September 28 against the Sabres.

Man From Rochester Accused Of Fighting With Neighbor Over a Dog
A man from Rochester is accused of fighting with his neighbor over a dog. Terry Foster is facing assault charges following the altercation with Tricina Hill. The man reportedly grabbed the woman by the neck as she acted like she was going to kick his dog that got into her yard. Then, the 62-year-old Foster reportedly threw her to the ground and kicked her in the face. Hill reportedly bit Foster in self-defense. Foster’s preliminary hearing is set for June 27th.
Cleanup From Western PA Tornadoes Begins Today
National Cleanup efforts resume today where tornadoes touched down in western Pennsylvania. Weather Service officials confirmed yesterday that an EF-1 twister with 105-mile-per-hour winds roared through parts of Butler and Armstrong counties. The hardest-hit area was in Parker, where the storm damaged houses and uprooted trees, but no injuries were reported.

Raylene Boots Talks Ellwood Arts Festival On A.M. Beaver County
You know an event has a long and strong tradition when it has its own Hall Of Fame. Such is the case with the Ellwood City Arts Festival.
Now in its 39th year, the annual Festival brings the best arts, crafts, food, and entertainment to Ewing Park for three days to celebrate the city and country (since it’s near the 4th of July weekend). Festival Chairperson Raylene Boots joined Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to discuss the festival running from June 28 to June 30. Boots talked about the 2nd Edition to the Hall of Fame and its inductees, the return of the Little Miss Firecracker pageant, the headlining bands, the Juried Art Show, and the food…just to scratch the surface.

Ron Bogolea , Dylan Elchin’s Grandfather stopped by Teleforum to talk about a Veteran’s Memorial that he is trying to raise money for.
(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Local resident Ron Bogolea joined Frank Sparks on Teleforum Monday, June 17, 2019. Ron is the Grandfather of Dylan Elchin a Hopewell High School graduate who was a special tactics combat controller assigned to the 26th STS. Dylan had deployed to Afghanistan in August of 2018 and was killed November 27, 2018 alongside two Green Berets when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in central Ghazni province, while en route to battle the Taliban. Ron has made it his mission to raise money for the “Footsteps of the Fallen Fight for Freedom” Memorial. Ron told the listeners about Dylan and his life and what he meant to him. Bogolea is very passionate about his grandson and other soldiers from Beaver County who have given the ultimate sacrifice of their life for our country. He is selling t-shirts to help raise money for the memorial, all of the proceeds from the shirt go directly to the fund. Gloria Vanderbilt, Heiress, Jeans Queen, Mother of Anderson Cooper, Dies at 95
NEW YORK (AP) — Heiress, designer and romantic Gloria Vanderbilt has died at 95. A young Vanderbilt was the center of a sensational custody dispute during the Great Depression. She later reigned during the 1970s and ’80s as a designer jeans queen and was the mother of CNN anchor Anderson Cooper.
