Ron Bogolea , Dylan Elchin’s Grandfather stopped by Teleforum to talk about a Veteran’s Memorial that he is trying to raise money for.

(Beaver Falls, Pa.) Local resident Ron Bogolea joined Frank Sparks on Teleforum Monday, June 17, 2019. Ron is the Grandfather of Dylan Elchin a Hopewell High School graduate who was a special tactics combat controller assigned to the 26th STS. Dylan had deployed to Afghanistan in August of 2018 and was killed November 27, 2018 alongside two Green Berets when their vehicle struck a roadside bomb in central Ghazni province, while en route to battle the Taliban. Ron has made it his mission to raise money for the “Footsteps of the Fallen Fight for Freedom”  Memorial. Ron told the listeners about Dylan and his life and what he meant to him. Bogolea is very passionate about his grandson and other soldiers from Beaver County who have given the ultimate sacrifice of their life for our country. He is selling t-shirts to help raise money for the memorial, all of the proceeds from the shirt go directly to the fund.
