(Pittsburgh, Pa.) According to multiple reports The White House is expected to announce that President Joe Biden is expected to visit Pittsburgh and attend the city’s Labor Day Parade next Monday.
The president last attended the parade back in 2018 and had plans to do so in 2020, but the event was postponed due to COVID-19.
The parade was also canceled last year.

(Pittsburgh, Pa.) Pittsburgh Police and Firefighters were called to the scene of a one vehicle accident early Monday morning in which a Mini Cooper crashed into a pole in Pittsburgh’s Strip District
One person was injured in the accident that occurred at the intersection of Liberty Avenue and 25th Street around 3 a.m.
When first responders arrived on scene, they found the driver, was conscious and alert, but trapped in the car. Crews had to remove both doors to rescue the man. He was taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.

WILKINSBURG, Pa. (AP) — Authorities say a vehicle fleeing police struck and killed a motor bike operator in western Pennsylvania, and the suspected driver was shot and wounded by police before he was captured. Allegheny County police say a Monroeville officer tried to stop a driver on felony arrest warrants, but the vehicle fled and hit a mini motor bike operator in Wilkinsburg, killing 39-year-old Luis Hernandez. County detectives found the vehicle but say the driver tried to strike a detective, who fired. Forty-eight-year-old Jack Sherwood was later arrested and faces charges including attempted homicide and assault; court documents don’t list an attorney.

(Aliquippa, Pa.) Aliquippa Police were called to the scene of a fatal shooting at the Valley Terrace  Apartments  on Superior Avenue in Aliquippa at 11:17 AM on Friday, August 26, 2022. Aliquippa Police Chief John Lane asked Pennsylvania State Police in Beaver to take over the investigation.

Officials say that an unnamed 19- year-old male was shot to death in the breezeway of Building C at the apartment complex.  Police remained on scene most of the day investigating, crime scene tape could be seen blocking access to the site.  The investigation is ongoing  and the identity of the shooter and the deceased male haven’t been released . The deceased male did not reside there, but his family members did, according to one report.

(Center Twp., Beaver County, Pa.) Police and firefighters from Center Township responded to the scene of a fatal motorcycle accident in front of Cactus Lounge late Saturday night, August 27, 2022.

Officials say that 40-year-old Christopher Graeser was operating his motorcycle on Center Grange Road in the area of the Cactus Lounge when he lost control and struck a pole. Beaver County Coroner David J. Gabauer reported Sunday morning that Graeser died as the result of blunt force trauma from the accident.
