Tom McCormack Discusses Farming Bees And Helping Amputees

For over two decades, Tom McCormack has made trips to Panama in order to help out the lower-income citizens that have trouble with mobility and are in need of body parts.

Tom, who runs McCormack Apiaries in Aliquippa with his wife Linda, is co-head of the Thomas L. & Linda J. McCormack Foundation that makes these annual trips to Panama to bring down supplies to the people of the area. He spoke to Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County about the upcoming trip(s) for 2019, how he transitioned from bee farming to prosthetics, the economic disparity in Panama, and how the kids in Panama receive small gifts through toys and books.
