Rick Plassmeyer Talks About BC’s Relay For Life On June 15

The struggle for cancer is a tough battle that seems unending. But that won’t stop many county citizens from joining the fight, including those attending the 24-Hour Relay For Life at Brady’s Run Park on June 15 & 16.

Rick Plassmeyer, himself a two-time cancer survivor, is a head coordinator for the Beaver County Relay For Life. He joined Matt Drzik on the June 10 edition of A.M. Beaver County to talk about this year’s event, which will have the theme of “Superheroes”. Rick discussed the 24 hour nature of the event, the good food and entertainment that will be had, and the stories of the past that make this event a yearly success.
