Rick Craword & Vanessa Campagna Talk About The Beaver Falls Spring Festival

The 2nd Annual Beaver Falls Spring Festival will be held on May 4 at the Municipal Parking Lot located on 13th Street between 7th & 8th Avenue. The event will feature live music, yard sales, auctions, and food vendors. Beaver County Radio will be broadcasting live from 12:30 until 6:30 on Saturday.

Vanessa Campagna, who is seen here in the studio in December 2014, called in from Norway to promote her Spring Fest appearance.

Rick Crawford, who is the chairman of the Beaver Falls Business District Authority, talked with Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to discuss all the different happenings that will take place at the Spring Festival. He talked about the improvements that were made from last year’s first event, the auction to be held by Asecendant Auctions, and the “treasure map” that will allow patrons to visit the local downtown businesses for a chance to win a prize.

Also joining Matt and Rick was singer Vanessa Campagna, who called in to Beaver County Radio all the way from Oslo, Norway (where it was mid-afternoon). Campagna will be singing live at the Spring Festival starting at 5:00pm, and she reflected on how excited she is to be a part of this event back in front of her hometown crowd. Vanessa also talked about her current work on tour with singer Michael W. Smith, and also a project she is working on with collaborating songwriters in Norway.
