National Day Of Prayer Breakfast To Be Held At Geneva College On May 2

The first Thursday of May is the National Day of Prayer in the United States, and in conjunction with that, Geneva College will be hosting their annual Prayer Breakfast on May 2 from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM.

Two of the head personnel for the Prayer Breakfast joined Matt Drzik on A.M Beaver County to talk about this year’s event: Geneva College President Dr. Calvin Troup, and Reverend Phil Huggins of First Baptist Church in Rochester.

Together, the men talked about why prayer is the most Christian part of Christianity, how this event is seen as a county event as opposed to just a Beaver Falls or Geneva-only event, and previewing the guest speaker for the morning: Dr. Terry Thomas, who is a Bible professor at Geneva.

The breakfast is free, but there will a be a good-will offering that will take place during the morning. More information can be found here.
