Things have been changing and rearranged throughout 2020 for various reasons, and Senior Day at The Mall, presented by the Beaver County Office On Aging, is no exception.

Erin Shannon & Angela Gentile from the BCOA joined Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County to discuss the October 14 Senior Day at the Mall, which will be a drive-thru event for this year. Participants will swing by the designated area behind Harbor Freight in between JcPenney and Boscov’s to receive their complimentary bag featuring informational resources and other types of “goodies”. Beaver County Radio will be there broadcasting live during the event, that takes place from 10 until noon, and personnel from the offices of State Representative Josh Kail and State Senator Elder Vogel will also be present.

Angela and Erin also spoke about the BCOA’s upcoming flu shot event that will be happening on Friday, October 16, the upcoming Medicare enrollment window for seniors in Beaver County, and the 34th Annual “Surprises For Shut-Ins” event that will be happening this Christmas season (albeit with some modifications).
