Beaver County’s Household Hazardous Waste Day Set For October 14

If you have any household materials that are being unused and need to be properly disposed of, then Saturday, October 14 is the day you want to head out to Brady’s Run Park in Fallston. That’s because the Beaver County Department of Waste Management will be, from 9 AM to 1 PM, collecting household materials that contain hazardous chemicals that will harm property and the environment if not disposed of properly.

Holly Vogt, Director of The BC Department of Waste Management, discussed the details of the upcoming event with Matt Drzik on A.M. Beaver County. She explained what materials are going to be collected (paints, batteries, polystyrene), the process of which they will be collected, and the help that she and the department are grateful for.

The collection will take place at the Brady’s Run Park Recycling Center. Contact information can be found by clicking here.
