(Ellwood City, PA) According to Ellwood City Wolverines Sports, Ellwood City named Sean McConahy as its next head high school football coach on Friday during a special board meeting. Per the agenda of that Ellwood City school board meeting, their district hired McConahy to a three-year contract beginning in the 2026 season and will run through 2029. McConahy previously worked as a science teacher for Ellwood City and also served as an assistant for Wilmington Area High School for several seasons while being a teacher. McConahy will take over for Dan Bradley, who was hired by Ambridge on January 14th, 2026.
