Riverside 18, Freedom 10

It was quite the battle Saturday night at Bulldog Stadium for Homecoming, and at the end of the night, the team on top stayed on top.

The Riverside Panthers hold on to win 18-10 over the Freedom Bulldogs on Beaver County Radio. Riverside took a 12-3 lead into the half, but Freedom kept it close until being stopped on the final drive.

During the 1st quarter, Freedom WR Nick Henderson became the leading receiver in Bulldog history. The game was paused to honor his accomplishment; audio of this highlight is posted below.

With the win, Riverside stays undefeated in the Midwestern Athletic Conference at 4-0 (4-1 overall). Freedom drops to 1-2 in the conference (1-5 overall).

Henderson, along with Riverside’s Lance Fisher, earn the honors as tonight’s CCBC Players of the Game.

Bob Barrickman has the recap for beavercountyradio.com.
